3. If you contact us by email, we store the data you provide (your email address, and if applicable your name and telephone number) in order to answer your questions. We delete the data arising in this context once the storage is no longer necessary, or restrict the processing if statutory retention obligations exist.

4. If we use commissioned service providers for individual functions of our offer or intend to use your data for advertising purposes, we will inform you in detail below about the respective processes. In this context, we also state the defined criteria for the storage period.

§ 2 Collection of personal data when visiting our website

1. When merely using our website in an informational manner, i.e., when you do not register or otherwise transmit information to us, we only collect the personal data that your browser sends to our server. When you visit our website, we collect the following data that are technically necessary for us to display the website and to ensure stability and security (legal basis Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR):

• IP address,
• date and time of the request,
• time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT),
• content of the request (specific page),
• access status / HTTP status code,
• amount of data transferred,
• referring website,
• browser, operating system and its user interface,
• language and version of the browser software.

2. In addition to the data mentioned above, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard drive and assigned to the browser you are using, through which certain information is transmitted to the party that sets the cookie (here, us). Cookies cannot execute programs or transmit viruses to your computer. They serve to make the internet as a whole more user‑friendly and more efficient.

3. Use of cookies:
a) This website uses the following types of cookies, whose scope and functioning are explained below:

– Transient cookies (see b)
– Persistent cookies (see c)

b) Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser. This includes in particular session cookies. These store a so‑called session ID, which allows various requests from your browser to be assigned to the same session. Thus, your computer can be recognised again when you return to our website. The session cookies are deleted when you log out or close the browser.

c) Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a predefined period, which may vary depending on the cookie. You can delete the cookies at any time in the security settings of your browser.

d) You can configure your browser settings as you wish, for example rejecting third‑party cookies or all cookies. We point out that you may then not be able to use all functions of this website.

§ 3 Further functions and services on our website

1. In addition to the purely informational use of our website, we offer various services that you can use if you wish. For this, you generally have to provide further personal data, which we use to provide the respective service and to which the above‑mentioned principles on data processing apply.

2. For the processing of your data we partly use external service providers. These have been carefully selected and commissioned by us, are bound to our instructions, and are regularly monitored.

3. Furthermore, we may disclose your personal data to third parties if contracts or similar services are offered by us together with partners. Further information on this is provided when you enter your personal data or below in the description of the offer.

4. Where our service providers or partners are based in a country outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we will inform you about the implications of this fact in the description of the offer.

§ 4 Your rights

1. You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right of access,
• Right to rectification or erasure,
• Right to restriction of processing,
• Right to object to processing,
• Right to data portability.

2. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about our processing of your personal data.

§ 5 Objection or revocation against the processing of your data

1. If you have given consent to the processing of your data, you may revoke it at any time. Such revocation affects the lawfulness of the processing of your personal data from the time you communicate the revocation to us.

2. Where we base the processing of your personal data on a balancing of interests, you may object to the processing. This is the case, for example, when the processing is not necessary to fulfil a contract with you, as described below for each function. When filing such an objection, we ask you to state the reasons why we should not process your personal data as we intended. If your objection is well‑founded, we will review the situation and either stop or adjust the data processing, or we will explain to you our compelling legitimate reasons that justify continuing the processing.

3. Of course, you may object at any time to the processing of your personal data for the purposes of advertising and data analysis. No further information is required for this. You can inform us of your advertising objection using the contact details indicated below:
